New Year

I had intended this blog to be a free-association type space where I shared with people whatever was on my mind at any point in time, and so it was probably going to be me ranting about politics and the economy so I decided to make it official and make this an economics blog.

This is going to be a page dedicated to explaining and exploring basic (or not so basic) economic, financial and political subjects relevant to current events. This would be a great space for

1) People who have no idea how the economy works due to non-exposure

2) People who know a little about how the economy works, but would like to learn more

3) People who need random facts at random points in time.
